Thank you so much!!! I raided the garage and found the denatured alcohol, took an old T-shirt of my hubby's (a good sacrifice, since I'd moments before been online looking at new, non-sticky binocs) and went to town on my Bushnells! All the sticky is gone, and I shined them with Windex for a brand new look! I also took my denatured alcohol rag and wiped down my straps - perfect! I'm very grateful, as I wasn't looking forward to making a decision on new binoculars - too confusing and I like what I have.
